Clarkebond is delighted to announce that as well as being selected to be a NCE 100 company in 2019, they have also been shortlisted for an NCE award for ‘Impact in Urban Living’.
This award is for firms seeking innovative solutions to increasing the population density of towns and cities while improving the quality of life for those living there through provision of housing and urban spaces, along with high quality healthcare, educational, recreational and leisure facilities.
The NCE100 is New Civil Engineer’s annual awards programme which recognises and celebrates the most innovative, impactful and inspirational civil engineering firms that are driving the industry forward by increasing productivity, driving cultural change; and delivering for society in the UK and worldwide. Submissions are scrutinised by a panel of over 60 judges who represent our industry’s leading clients and stakeholder groups and scored alongside feedback obtained from a short staff survey in order to earn a place in the Top 100 and rank in the overall Top 10 Companies and the NCE’s Trending20.
Clarkebond’s submission in the Impact in Urban Living category was based on their involvement in Havering Council’s £1bn Urban Renewal Programme.
“This is a great accolade for everyone at Clarkebond who has been supporting Wates on this project,” commented Neil Marks, Commercial Manager. “Our priority is always to deliver quality for our clients but It’s always gratifying to have our work recognised in a wider sphere.”
