Civils Apprentice

Starting salary £9,379 – £11,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications)

Clarkebond are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join their team in the Bristol based office. This role would suit somebody with an interest in construction and engineering and an ambition to progress onto higher education. You will be primarily engaged in CAD, REVIT and supporting the production of plans, designs and documentation for our associated projects across the Southwest and further afield.

 In addition, you will print copies of drawings, correspondence and other documents, undertake necessary filing, archiving and utilise your IT skills to assist with compiling reports. 

You will initially attend college on a day release basis to study the BTEC level 3 Construction and the Built environment and level 3 NVQ Diploma Civil Engineering for Technicians, as well as benefit from the coaching and guidance of our experienced Chartered Engineers.  We encourage progression onto higher education up to and including degree level.

You may also attend site on occasion to view or inspect demolition works and construction in order to gain an understanding of the construction process and ideally see the projects you have been working on coming to life; and attend meetings under the supervision of Project Engineers or Senior Technician.
