Summer Placement 2023

Position Title: Undergraduate Hydrology and Flood Risk Summer Placement

£21,255+ per annum                        Bristol                        

Job Purpose:

During your placement with our hydrology and flood risk team, we aim to provide you with an insight into working in a consulting engineering environment. We aim to develop your understanding of working in a commercial context and of working with other skills disciplines (civils, transportation, structures, geotechnical). 

You may be involved in projects of varying value and gain exposure to projects from pre-planning through to post construction. 

You may also attend site or attend meetings. Your understanding of hydrology, drainage and sustainability principles and of software already gained at University will be essential to assist the team in delivering quality assessments, reports and other outputs on time and within budget constraints.

Interview process:

First interviews may be conducted via teams, second interviews at our offices. Travel costs may be reimbursed if travelling from outside the Bristol area.

Our requirements:

We are seeking undergraduates studying Physical Geography, Environmental Sciences or Civil Engineering with modules relating to hydrology and the water environment, who enjoy working in a small team.
