Helen is a Senior Civil Engineer in the Darlington office, and she has over 19 years of highways and project management experience across a variety of projects. Her experience includes working for local authorities and consultants within the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire.
Helen has a variety of experience ranging from local authority improvement schemes, road safety schemes and car park design to the design and development of new highway infrastructure in the Middle East. She has also gained experience in the development of active travel schemes, highway flood prevention schemes incorporating the use of innovative SuDS solutions and major highway maintenance schemes.
She is an approachable and proactive individual, with a keen eye for detail. She is comfortable working within the office, meeting clients and external stakeholders, as well as carrying out site supervision. She has a keen interest in mentoring females in engineering and inspiring young people to consider careers in STEM.
