The Block BL20 Offices application proposed a building and ancillary archive space of 3,434 sqm (GIA) which falls within class B1 of the Use Classes Order. The application site area comprised the building footprint, parking areas, on plot landscaping and access road infrastructure. The site also connects into a temporary drainage connection permitted under the previous phase 1 offices consent which links into the existing Skypark drainage network.
The Block BL10 Offices application proposed a building and ancillary archive space of Approx 20,891.4 sq ft (GIA)The works as indicated on the drawings comprises the construction of a two storey, office buildings with external site works including hardstandings, car parking, refuse stores, cycle shelters, landscaping and drainage.
The works comprised of design and construction ground to second floor office building with external works including hardstanding, car parking, refuse store cycle shelters, landscaping, incoming utilities/district heating and infrastructure works.
Clarkebond undertook the foundation/ substructure design and various elements of superstructure design with steelwork fabricator Morgans of Usk providing the main steel frame design. Clarkebond have also undertaken the design of all civils design for external works, access ways and drainage.
